Bridges Math Curriculum
This year Lakewood School District has adopted a new math curriculum, called Bridges, at the Elementary level. This program was developed by teachers to provide opportunities for all students to be successful in math through the use of research-based teaching methods and visual models. Consistent attention is given to both the mastery of basic skills and conceptual understanding. You are encouraged to click on the link below to visit the website. Once there, you will see a green section on the right side of the screen called "Support for Families." This will lead to answers to some of the questions many parents are asking. If you browse the rest of the site, you will also see samples of materials and activities that your child may be doing in class. We hope you will visit it soon and often!
