LAKEWOOD SPORTS
XC – Both our girls and boys varsity teams qualified for state and will compete in the championships on Saturday, November 7th in Pasco. I have attached their itinerary presented by Coach Sowards and Murray. They will be departing Cougar Country on Thursday at 8am from the high school. Congratulations and go make us proud!
Football – Our football team finished 5th in league and will have one more football game on Friday, November 6th at home vs Bellingham. The game will start at 7pm.
Volleyball – Our girls won the tie-breaker over Granite Falls and have claimed the #3 seed at districts. They will play at Lakewood Middle School on Wednesday, November 4th at 4pm vs Lynden. The 2A District 1 Volleyball Championships are being held at Lakewood on November 4th and 7th.
Girls Soccer – The girl's team will play on Saturday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. against the winner of Burlington and Squalicum.

Love mystery stories? Be sure to come see Agatha Christie's famous work: The Mousetrap at the LHS Theater this November. Two weekends are going to be filled with mystery, suspense and exciting dramatic performances. Play Dates: November 13th, 14th, 20th and 21st. Be sure to bring a friend and enjoy the most captivating "whodunnit" with a surprise ending that will leave you speechless!
BLOOD DRIVE
Monday, November 23 from 8:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m. in the Library
Sign up to donate blood in the Commons at Lunch. For information contact Lakewood High School Honor Society. Blood Center permission forms are required for students 16 and 17. All students need photo ID.
END OF 1st QUARTER
1st quarter ends on Friday, November 6. Students will be released early at 11:00 a.m.
