Bus Rules

RULES FOR STUDENTS RIDING THE BUS

1. Students must obey the driver promptly and willingly.
2. Students will be at their bus stop five (5) minutes before their scheduled pick up time and be accountable for their actions.
3. Students will be seated safely, facing the front of the bus and keeping the aisle clear.
4. The bus driver is authorized to assign seats.
5. Respect others; no profanity. Respect property; students and parents will be held responsible for damage.
6. Speak quietly enough so that the driver cannot identify who is talking.
7. Keep head, hands, and all objects inside the bus; no littering.
8. Never cross behind the school bus, always in front when loading and unloading.
9. Students must have permission from the school office to leave the bus at other than their normal stop, or to ride other than their regular assigned bus.
10. Students are not allowed to eat or drink on the bus. Tobacco in any form, smoking, alcohol or drugs are not permitted.
11. Weapons of any kind (real or toy) are not permitted on the bus
