At home you can help your child by encouraging them to talk to you about their school day, assignments, grades, projects, events, and activities. It is also important to have a consistent time and place for doing homework. Let your children know that they are capable of being successful learners. Your words of encouragement are powerful and can influence attitudes and performance in school and at home.
