Music
Lab
English
Crossing now has its very own keyboard lab. Each grade level is
taking turns housing it in the pod. Every student will have a
9-week introduction to the keyboard this year. The school received
the lab through a grant given by VH1. Mrs. Lind received training
for running the lab at Yamaha Headquarters in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The computer which runs this very technology-driven music curriculum
was acquired by a grant from the Lakewood Education Foundation.
Everyone is enjoying this incredible hands-on music learning experience!

The
Library

English Crossing's
Library is a busy place! Mrs. Pearson is the Librarian.
For more information about the library, visit the English
Crossing Librarian's Page.

The
Computer Lab
Technology is one of our priorities at English Crossing
Elementary, so the computer lab is a very busy place. The
lab has 31 workstations at this time, including a teacher
workstation that is connected to a TV screen projector.
The lab is where students make the most use of high-speed
ethernet Internet access and work on most of their computer-based
projects. Some of these projects can be viewed on the Student
Work page.
