SNO-ISLE TECH SKILLS CENTER
Sno-Isle Tech, located near Paine Field in Everett, is a cooperative effort of 14 local school districts. It provides students with skills that will prepare them for entry-level jobs after graduation from high school or for related post high school education or training.
Students interested in attending Sno-Isle should have good attendance at LHS and should give careful consideration to their level of interest prior to making a commitment to a particular program because programs are one year long.
Application to Sno-Isle is made in the spring each year for entrance into fall classes. Applications are available in the high school counseling office and interviews will be held at Sno-Isle for students who apply to the program.
Transportation to Sno-Isle is provided by Lakewood School district. Courses are from 11:10 to 1:40 each afternoon with students attending regular classes at Lakewood High School in the morning.
Sno-Isle has articulation agreements with several community colleges in the area. Through these agreements, students successfully completing selected Sno-Isle programs may receive college credit or a waiver on some requirements in a variety of college classes. Anyone planning to receive college credit for a Sno-Isle course must check with the Sno-Isle instructor.
