Supply Lists

Each teacher has particular supplies they will ask you to provide for your child. You will receive a list in June when the children have been assigned to their classroom for next year.

Regular school attendance is important to your child's progress. If your child is going to be absent, please call the school office at 360-652-4520 and leave a message. We check the messages daily. If you do not leave a message, an attempt is made to reach someone at the child's residence to confirm his or her absence.

When returning from an absence, you will need to send a note that states the nature of the absence (illness, doctor appointment, etc.) the date and includes a parent/guardian signature. This note needs to be turned in to the office.

The Washington State law called the Becca Bill (ESSB 5439) requires school districts to file truancy petitions in juvenile court on students who have five unexcused absences in a month or ten absences in a year. This is why calling the attendance line and sending an excuse note are so very important.

Leaving Early

If your child needs to leave school early, please send a note indicating what time you will be picking up your child. When you arrive, check in at the office and we will call your child from class to meet you at the office. Please do not go to the classroom to pick up your child.
