Favorite colors: Blue, Forest Green, and Mauve

 

Favorite foods: Seafood, Mexican and Chinese

 

Favorite drinks: Iced Tea, Lemonade, and Dr. Pepper

 

Favorite sweet:  Practically anything that has chocolate and nuts in it

 

Favorite thing to watch on TV: Baseball, but only if the Mariners are playing

 

Favorite things to do in my spare time: Read, quilt, play tennis or golf, camp, fish, play with my computer

 

Collections: Watering and milk cans, and cow ‘stuff’ (yes, I am a farmer’s daughter)

 

Favorite things to read:

·        Fiction: Mysteries. I especially like books that surprise me in the end.

·        Non-fiction: Right now I am reading books that will give me insight into meeting the enrichment needs of students.  I am looking forward to learning more from all you parents who have had several years of first-hand experience getting to know a highly capable child.

·        Seattle Pacific University: Bachelor of Arts in Education and Psychology

·        California State Long Beach: Masters in Educational Technology

·        Boise State University: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Educational Technology

 

Teaching Experiences: I have taught for over 20 years at the 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in Washington, California, and British Columbia. I also taught graduate level online classes for a couple of years at Boise State University.
