• K-5 Language Arts Program Review


    From November 2011 - February 2012 the district Curriculum Council worked to identify the content area in highest need for new instructional materials. Language Arts for K-5 was identified as the area in greatest need.

    Following board policy and procedures, a Selection Committee for K-5 Language Arts was developed to review assessment data, learn more about the Common Core State Standards, and identify best instructional practices for reading and writing from research.  More about the review process is provided below.
