Heart of Lakewood Community Service Award
The Heart of Lakewood Community Service Award recognizes outstanding community service contributions made by a student, staff member or community member to the Lakewood School District, a local not-for-profit community organization, neighborhood group, association or initiative. Eligible activities include initiating a community project that provides a substantial service to the Lakewood community; serving as an inspiration in the community as a result of selfless commitment to compassion and kindness that contributes to the greater good; or providing leadership in a community-based endeavor that brings out the best in other people.
All students (current and former), staff and community members are eligible. An individual may only receive the award once. Community service that makes significant contributions to the Lakewood School District or in conjunction with school district activities as they shaped our community will be weighed most heavily in consideration.
