Surplus Property
The district disposes of obsolete or surplus items in a variety of ways.
In accordance with RCW 28A.335.180, the district can grant surplus property to federal, state, or local government entities or indigent persons (or charitable organizations assisting indigent persons) at no cost, provided that the books be used for preschool through twelfth grade education.
Disposition of surplus property to parties other than public or private schools may take place after 30 days.
