The Communications Department provides timely and relevant information to strengthen connections among families, staff and community. Here are some ways to connect:

• Media Relations
  • For media inquiries, please contact Communications Specialist Kristina Bowman, kbowman@lwsd.wednet.edu, 360-652-4500 x1006.
• Finalsite Notifications: To receive important messages from your school and the district via phone, text, and email, please make sure that your school has your updated contact information. 
• Mobile App, the free LWSD app gives you access to news, district and school calendars, notifications, staff contact information and more. You can customize the app so you receive information specific to your student's school.
• Social Media
  • Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn for shared news and stories about students, staff, schools and more! 
• District website, your connection to schools, departments and staff.
• Check out the videos on the district YouTube channel
• Publications (print and electronic)
  • Lakewood’s Going Places, our email newsletter, is sent about once a month. You can subscribe at the bottom of our home page.
  • Friends and Neighbors, our print newsletter, is mailed to every district resident.
