SUN Bucks
This Summer Sun Bucks is returning
The program will provide families with $120 for each eligible school-aged child to buy food when school is out.
Eligibility
- Children who live in a household already receiving assistance program benefits (SNAP, TANF, FDPIR), OR
- Children who attend a school that operates the National School Lunch or School Breakfast Program, AND
-
- Is directly certified for free or reduced-price school meals, or
- Qualified for benefits through the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit (CNEEB) Application in the 2024-2025 school year, or
If your family has moved during the school year, you will need to update your mailing address to ensure the SUN Bucks card is sent to the correct address. Address changes can be made by contacting your student’s school by June 13th.
SUN Bucks will be issued beginning late-June through the end of August 2025. Once qualified, families will receive approval notice and SUN Bucks EBT card within 7 to 10 business days via U.S. Mail. SUN Bucks benefits expire 122 days from issuance.
