•  Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America

FCCLA stands for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. FCCLA is open to
all students who are taking or have taken Family Health. The FCCLA mission is
to promote personal growth and leadership development.

In FCCLA, students work together to organize and implement community service
projects, create friendships, grow as student leaders, and compete in Star
    Events.

STAR Events (Students Taking Action with Recognition) are competitive events that
allow members to compete in individual or team events.  Competitions take
place at the Regional level in February and at the State level in the spring at
the State Leadership Conference.  Members compete at the National level at
the National Leadership Conference in July.

Student officers are elected and meetings are held during tutorial on Tuesdays. The
regional meeting in the October and the STAR EVENTS competition in February
prepare students for the state convention in March.
