Nominations for Heart of Lakewood Award

The Lakewood School District and Board of Directors is seeking nominations for the Heart of Lakewood Community Service Award. The award, which will be presented at the June 21 Board meeting, recognizes outstanding community service contributions made by a student, staff member or community member. Nominations are due June 5.

Eligible activities include initiating a community project that provides a substantial service to the Lakewood community; serving as an inspiration in the community as a result of selfless commitment to compassion and kindness that contributes to the greater good; or providing leadership in a community-based endeavor that brings out the best in other people.

Students, alumni, staff and community members are eligible. Learn more and nominate someone for the award.
