Volunteer Applications Now Online!

Volunteers can now apply online.

Lakewood School District is going digital for volunteer applications! We anticipate this move will streamline and simplify the process of volunteering for both volunteers and schools before the busy holiday season.

As part of our transition to Raptor’s volunteer management system, we are asking our existing volunteers to complete an updated background check by Nov. 6, or at least two weeks before they plan to volunteer. The links for English and Spanish applications are available on the Volunteers page of our website.

After clearing the background check, volunteers will receive an email that they are now an approved volunteer. This approval is good for two years for any Lakewood school. Please remember to bring a government-issued ID (such as a driver's license) to check in at the school.

What you will need to apply:

A digital photo of your government-issued ID (such as a driver’s license) (jpg, png or pdf)

How long does the application take?

We anticipate the electronic form will take less than 10 minutes for volunteers to complete.
